Founded by M.R. Lankford, WRAY 1250 AM began broadcasting on December 16, 1950, 98.1 FM began in 1960. Four generations of the Lankford family have been involved in the ownership and management of WRAY, with studios, offices and transmitters located in Princeton, Indiana. Over the years many loyal listeners and advertisers have grown to love and appreciate the community involvement of their local radio station.
